How do you choose a style?

You know it when you see it, but you can’t describe it or put your finger on it. Modern is nice, but so is traditional and farmhouse and mid-century. How do you choose just one?

To best communicate with your designer what YOUR style is, start with Pinterest! Yes, it can be a rabbit-hole, but it the single best visual search engine out there. Start pinning spaces you can see yourself in, spaces that make you want to curl up and get cozy, or throw a party. Start pinning and after a while you’ll start to see themes; lots of white walls, beautiful, large windows that let in tons of light, little nooks for reading or open kitchens for entertaining. Images are your friends and they will be so helpful to your designer!
