Framing at the Loft House

This has been a fun project so far. The plans were pretty detailed, and we have many hours into fine tuning the design.

The framing stage is one of my favorites. Nothing like walking through a house and just slipping through the walls to get from one room to the next. People often don’t appreciate it when you try to do this in a finished home, it’s strange, but whatever.

The views are pretty incredible from this home and the house was designed to feature that. There are big windows throughout and a large patio, the loft will look out towards the canyon, and the upstairs bedrooms will have views of the surrounding hillsides.
